    Latest Training Updates!

The end is in sight!!!  The end of dryland, that is.  And that means the beginning of winter and skiing.  Just a few more days of conditioning and we'll be heading out to Winter Park for camp.

For those that are heading to camp, you have just a short time to get your things together to take along.  For those who are staying, you have a couple more weeks in which to train and prepare for being on snow.

Which brings me to the canting clinic being held this Saturday, November 15, at the Team Room from 9-12.  You can bring your boots, skis, and what-not so we can check boots with skis, etc.

Our last two drylands, on Monday and Tuesday, November 17-18, will take place at Spirit Mountain.  The times remain the same, and we will meet at the Team Room at 4 p.m.  Monday will be on-snow, and we will have a special session on Tuesday.

Our focus for the Tuesday (Nov 18) session will be sports psychology, and Dr. Dave Plude will be the guest speaker.  This will be the first installment of a season-long series of discussions that Dr. Dave is leading.  He has volunteered his time (be sure to thank him) to help us improve our skills for skiing, racing, and life in general.

Speaking of thanking people for their efforts, be sure to thank Corey for putting together the physical assessment testing during the Ski Swap.  Thanks also to those who participated.  Here are the results for the men and ladies.  Way to go !!

    Happy trails,

    Race
